Part C: Associating PC Port with USB Driver

12. Wait while Windows prepares the next phase of the installation (associating the PC port with the

USB drive).

A New Hardware Found bubble will emerge from the tray area (lower right corner) of the screen and

appear briefly.

13. The Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard screen will appear. This is the beginning of the

“Found New Hardware” sequence for the port. Select “No, not this time” and click Next.

14. The next screen says “This wizard helps you install software for:” and then names the serial port by

type.

Select “Install the software automatically” and then click Next.
