Voice Setup Basics

RECORDING YOUR PERSONAL GREETING

When you install HotFax MessageCenter, a set of canned greetings are

provided. However, you may want to personalize your greeting. In fact,

with HotFax MessageCenter, you can record multiple greetings, then

switch between them as needed.

To record your personal greeting:

1. Open the HotFax MessageCenter command console.

2. Open the Setup menu and choose the Mailbox Greeting option. The

voice recording and playing options window displays:

3. Click Record to begin recording your greeting.

4. Click Stop when done recording.

5. Click Play to listen to your recording. (Repeat steps 3 through 5 as

needed until you are satisfied with your recording.)

6. Click Save to save your greeting.

To record multiple greetings, open your Mailbox Setup options and

choose the Messages tab. See online help for details.
