LED Indicators

LED Description

Transmit Data. This LED is lit when the adapter is transmitting data on the serial port.

Receive Data. This LED is lit when the adapter is receiving data on the serial port.

Carrier Detect. This LED is lit when the adapter detects a valid carrier signal on the

serial port.

It is on when the serial port has a valid connection.

Terminal Ready. (Also called Data Terminal Ready.) This LED indicates the PC is

turned on and ready to communicate. It is lit when a data communications program

initializes the adapter. It goes off when the communications program disconnects the

COM port. When it goes off, a connected adapter will disconnect.

802.11 LNK

Wi-Fi Link. This LED is lit when there is a valid link for a Wi-Fi connection.

802.11 ACT

Wi-Fi Activity. This LED is on while there is Wi-Fi activity.

PWR

Power. This LED Indicates the presence of DC power when lit.
