9. Click on Networks & Services > Network. The LAN IP network is already defined. This is the private LAN on

eth0 at Site A.

a) Create a PPTP IP address pool with a subnet that is part of the main IP network of the LAN port (private

LAN). Up to 128 addresses can be assigned but in this example we will assign 16 addresses.

For example: Name = PPTP-Pool

IP address = 192.168.2.240

Subnet mask = 255.255.255.240

10. Click on VPN > PPTP.

a) Enable PPTP Status by placing a checkmark in the box.

b) It is optional to enable PPTP Debug.

c) Select an Encryption Strength of strong (128 Bit).

d) For Select Remote Address choose PPTP-Pool and click Save.

e) Select Local as the Authentication Type and click Save.

f) Define a new user by specifying the Username (lower case) and Password (lower case). (Example:

Username = roadwarrior, Password = 1o2t3t4f).

g) Click Add.

This completes the configuration of the RF660VPN at Site A.

Now configure the remote client.
