Installing Your MultiFRAD Software

The following loading procedure does not provide every screen or option in the process of installing

the MultiFRAD software. The assumption is that a technical person is doing the installation and that

a thorough knowledge of Windows and the software loading process is understood. Additional

information on the MultiFRAD software is provided in Chapter 4 of this User Guide.

1. Run Windows on the PC connected to the Command Port.

2. Insert the MultiFRAD software disk into the PC disk drive.

3. Win98/95/NT users - click Start I Run. In the Run dialog box click the down arrow and choose

a:\setup or b:\setup (depending on the location of your floppy disk drive) or use the Browse

button and click on Setup, then click OK.

Win3.1 users - in the Program Manager, access Run by clicking File I Run. In the Run dialog

box, type a:\setup or b:\setup (depending on the location of your floppy disk drive) in the

Command Line field and then click OK.

4. Windows prepares the install shield and then the Welcome dialog box welcoming you to the

MF100 Setup program screen is displayed.

Click Next > to continue.

5. The Choose Destination Location dialog box is displayed.

Follow the on-screen instructions to install your MultiFRAD software. You may choose the

Destination Location of your MultiFRAD software or you can choose to select the default

destination by clicking Next >.

Note: If you click on the Browse button you can choose from several folders. Multi-Tech

Systems recommends that you choose the default destination.
