Chapter 2 Installation

Introduction

Where can I install Fluid SMS Gateway on my network?

Fluid SMS Gateway can be installed on any computer which meets

the minimum system requirements irrespective of the location on your

network. However certain network ports need to take note of.

Use Fluid SMS Gateway to manage the events generated:

 On the same computer where it is installed

 On all the computers that are reachable from the computer on

which it is installed.

Fluid SMS Gateway can be deployed within your network.

Deployment of Fluid SMS Gateway on a Local Area Network

Fluid SMS Gateway can be deployed on Windows based networks as

well as on mixed environments where Linux and UNIX systems are

being used as well.

Windows 2000/XP/2003/2008/VISTA/7 - Installation

 Processor: 1 GHz or higher processor clock speed

 RAM: 256 MB

 Hard disk: 200 MB of available space

 Others: Keyboard and mouse or compatible pointing device.
