Configuring SMS Modem

Configuring settings for SMS Modem

The current version of Fluid SMS Gateway only support SMS Modem

connected to the machine via communication port. To configure the

SMS Modem, user would need to know the communications parameter

of the modem.

1. From the left Menu, select Configurations > SMS Modem

2. Select the property to be configured from the list provided. The

property includes Com Port, Baud Rate, Data Bits, Parity, Stop Bits,

Flow Control, Disable Check Pin, Message Memory.

3. Please check whether you wish the modem to be active. If the

modem is active, when the Fluid SMS Gateway service is started it will

always try to send SMS if the Send As SMS transmission option is

enabled.

4. Please check whether you wish to connect to the modem on

service startup

5. Click on Save to finalize your settings.

6. Alternatively, you can click Auto Detect to add in the modem.

■ Falcom
