Sign - Add/Edit Legend - Legend Details
Sign - Add/Edit Legend - Legend Text
Legend Text This area shows the text defined for the legend (and any fields which are contained within the
legend).
Note: When adding a new legend, the legend is initially blank. When editing a legend, the
currently defined legend text is shown.
The example shown above contains 4 fields, all of type 'Other Sign Legend'.
Available Fields Shows the types of fields which can be placed into the legend.
A field is a variable item of information (such as number of available spaces) which is updated
by SIESPACE or an external system such as a UTC.
OK button Confirms the changes made to the legend text and / or fields.
Note: The new / edited legend is not stored in the database until you select 'Store' in the
Sign
Legends form.
Cancel button Cancels all changes made to the legend text and / or fields.
To edit the legend text
1. Click in the row that you wish to change. The row changes to an edit box.
2. You may then edit the row text.
3. When you have finished editing the text, click elsewhere on the form.
4. The edit box disappears and the legend text is then updated.
